When applying for a student visa, candidates are usually required to provide:

  • a valid passport,

  • a completed visa application form,

  • a recent passport-sized photograph,

  • an official Letter of Acceptance issued by the University of Rzeszów,

  • proof of payment of tuition fees (if applicable),

  • evidence of sufficient financial resources to cover living expenses and studies in Poland,

  • valid health insurance,

  • confirmation of accommodation in Poland (e.g. dormitory reservation or rental agreement),

  • any additional documents requested by the Polish Embassy or Consulate.

Please note that visa requirements may differ depending on the applicant’s nationality and country of residence. Therefore, candidates should always verify the current requirements directly with the Polish diplomatic mission where they intend to submit their application.

Obtaining a visa is the sole responsibility of the candidate. The University of Rzeszów can provide admission documents required for the visa application but cannot influence the visa decision or processing time.

How to apply for a student visa?
After receiving the Letter of Acceptance from the University of Rzeszów, candidates should apply for a National Visa (Type D) at the Polish Embassy or Consulate responsible for their place of residence. Visa applications must be submitted in person and approved before travelling to Poland. As visa processing may take several weeks, candidates are strongly advised to begin the procedure as early as possible.
